FCI’s Industrial and Aerospace
Divisions have over 400,000 units in the field, covering the full range
of liquid, gas and slurry process requirements since introducing its
first flow switch/monitor in 1964. In 1980, FCI relocated from the Los
Angeles area to its new, dedicated manufacturing facility in San Marcos,
near San Diego, California. In 1993, FCI opened its European Sales and
Service Center in the Netherlands to support its growing international
customer base.
FCI products support some of the world's most demanding processes and
industries including aerospace, military, nuclear power, chemical, waste
and water, oil and gas, and more. Customers find FCI offers a broad
range of instrumentation solutions, from OEM value priced sensors to
custom engineered systems for critical space applications.
FCI dedicated a team of technical and manufacturing personnel to focus
on the commercial and military aircraft, space, vehicle and marine
markets in 1986. This effort led to the formation of FCI’s Aerospace
Division in 1996. Over the past 17 years, FCI Aerospace has successfully
supported commercial aircraft programs for Boeing, Airbus, Bombardier
and Embraer with instrumentation in numerous system applications. Our
sensors are in service on military fighters, bombers, helicopters,
vehicles and ships, where they have been qualified to rigorous military
standards.
FCI received ISO9001 certification and the coveted AS9000 compliance in
January 2001 and was upgraded to AS9100 certification in December 2003.
FCI’s design, manufacturing and calibration systems, processes and
facilities have been reviewed and audited by all major contractors and
airframe manufacturers enabling FCI to provide proposals directly to
system suppliers and prime contractors, alike. Our world-class
calibration facility is continually being expanded to meet the needs of
our customers. The latest addition includes a new liquid flow stand for
wide flow rate and temperature ranges in aerospace fluids – fuels,
hydraulic fluids, coolants and other critical liquids.
FCI is committed to providing the most reliable, cost effective sensors
to the commercial and military aircraft, space, vehicle and marine
industries available in the market today.
